I hadn’t seen that but that makes sense if that’s what it’s going to be used for. In some cases I’ve seen TCU’s using hidden 5GHz WiFi networks or Bluetooth connectivity for communication with the head unit in a car which is why I theorized that’s what the Bluetooth could be used for.

Has Ford said what information will be communicated amongst vehicles? I believe Tesla does or is planning to do something similar with their cars.

So is this currently broken other than using work arounds?

Thanks neilc1 for being stubborn on getting this working on Sync 2!

it might help others if you post which phone, and ops system you got it working on,
might post which app you're on also,

Im on iOS 14.4.2 on iPhone 11 and Ford Pass 3.19.1.

currently not using it as I had only made a temp harness until I could prove it out. Now that I know it works I’m going to build a new harness. I have the connectors here and new terminals coming. Just to save a bit of time building the harness could anyone tell me how long of runs they needed from the test port and from the BCM back to the module? Id like to be able to build up the harness in my shop ahead of tearing my truck apart.

thanks

How hard is the wiring harness to make, I am not having much luck getting one from Grey Goose and I am eager to get this going.

Does anybody know the updated part #'s for the rear mounted OEM pifa antenna HL3T-19K351-AA by the top of the back glass under the headliner and the OEM antenna cable HL3T18895GCthat are listed on the first page, as I found out these #'s come up nothing. I found out my late '16 has the notches and the holes for these and would like to go this route instead of what I'm using. Thanks

My 302A had all the necessary wiring in it but I had already bought the harness from boosted. If I can find it I'll sell it to you.

Here is an Ebay link I found ( it's not me selling this). https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-2020-F...AAAOSwJWFgKxbK
I removed mine when I traded my truck and it is the part number you listed. I still have the TCU, pifa extension cable and Pifa antenna. The TCU is the one with just the purple connector. Don't know if anyone is interested in the TCU with the new Fordpass issues but I no longer need these items so anyone can pm me if interested in anything.

Curious if this is still working for you on the latest version of the FordPass app (v 3.19.1) or if it is broken again as Anoku stated in post #3656?
