I know the last update on the app, said something about it was the only version now supported. I’d update the app. I have just did this mod. Everything works for me on the app.
I updated it and it still asks me to activate vehicle which I cant actually do, and it is clearly updated if 3.12 works for me but nothing past that
If the vehicle can’t activate that’s how Ford knows your location. Will the app unlock ur doors and start the truck?
best I can tell, is the tcu unit has the WiFi and hotspot built in. The connect stuff uses the pifa antenna, is it plugged in?

On 3.12 I can see oil life mileage lock unlock doors start the truck etc. Everything besides the location which stopped working when they released latest update.

I had this mod for over a year and after 3.12 is when some issues started to come so I just keep it on 3.12 and on my second phone I have latest version but it says action is currently unavailable. But on my phone with version 3.12 it works fine (minus location) and it is activated lol

Did you try a master reset on sync and then delete the vehicle from the app before uninstalling and reinstalling the Ford pass app. Then try to re-add everything? I also have one of the older units and that's what worked for me, but I also know that functionality is random lol.

Yes I did and that hasn't worked either. I guess I'll just settle for the goods on the app with stuff that works and hope the truck doesnt get stolen Haha

yea, it’s like after 3.12 it’s not reading your tcu unit. Before I added mine, all the app showed was oil life and mileage.
I would try the reset and if that didn’t work maybe update the tcu units firmware?

I assume this handy dandy upgrade still works provided you have some patients and some Xtra $$ to toss at the name of convenience?? Tcu seem pretty easy to come by!
