just did this mod, I had a bad tcu but after a tcu from FLVP Mods, works perfect. My tcu would do all the connect stuff perfect but hotspot wouldn’t pass. Now everything works even the Ford pass app works perfect.

Does anyone know if you can do this on a 2016 limited. Bought the items needed and when to do the install. Started to remove the sound prod on the back wall and I just have the power running boards where you put the cellular unit in the pics. Any help would be greatful.

there should be an “embossed” shape in the rear pad, but I just stuck mine on the back wall with HD velcro
Post 1 shows the area pretty well

I did the retro fit on my 2016 lariat with an Escape TCU and it work except when i start the truck i have no feedback if the truck as started but i did.
The TCU have used is a HJ5T-14G087-UC and need to be updated to calibration UF and up because every 2017 F150as this calibration have check with as-built explorer.
The as-built i use is,

I will try in a few day to understand why the TCU don't send me a feedback when the truck as started may be i have bought a bad TCU.

HI, just a quick question - do You know what part number has a TCU starting from J that will work in Europe ?? I'm looking the one with hotspot but working on hs3 not hs4 (K series) ?

i had this issue i changed line 1 to B100 reboot and change it back. below is a copy of my config

Don't even start with the jamie75 as-built the only thing may be cause is a low antenna signal mine on forscan is bethween 40 and 50 i don't know if is a minimal to be operate
