Like most everyone else who had fordpass working prior to app version 3.12, mine hasn’t worked since (other than through shortcuts). I’ve messed with it enough that it’s now stuck in waiting to authorize, and my app won’t let me activate.
I figure there is nothing to lose trying to update the firmware to see if I can get any further setting this up again. My only concern is the TCU going into some weird state from bad firmware combos causing battery drain.
Does anyone know if updating the TCU firmware could lead to battery drain if incorrect firmware is used? (Similar to the APIM, where wingding font shows as the version in Forscan)

I have not seen that behavior by flashing the TCU firmware. Be aware that flashing the firmware takes a long time.

I upgraded my firmware from JL3T-14G139-CK/ JL3T-14G144-CK to JL3T-14G139-CS/ JL3T-14G144-CS.

I now have two new addresses:

754-04-07: 7C7C 7C7C 7CD2
754-04-08: 7C7C 0362

Does anyone know what these addresses should be set too or what they are for? Or should I downgrade the firmware to remove them?

A couple of days ago when I opened the app it had a pop up that said they were having issues activating vehicles.

Upgraded to an Iphone 12 pro max, app and iOS current--swapped with no issues thankfully.....the updated app has vehicle info in different places tho.

I had an "Oh ****" moment Friday,
I don't use or check the app daily, but Friday it was only good for the first page, start, stop, lock, and unlock,
the second page, with all the oil, tire, and other was blank,
"Oh ****"
I checked this morning and it is all back,
different format like Paper said, but all back.

I am due for a new phone(work),
I dread the day.

Finaly it's working what I did factory reset on APIM delete truck on application put TCU in factory mode add truck with in aplication and but back the TCU in normal state did a start commande and get a confirmation.
Have worked with FORSCAN and UCDS sofware to make the compoaration with AS-Built Explorer
