im going to go with no it can’t be done as the fiesta is on the same c1 platform that the escape of that year is on and I last I remember the escape can’t be done.

A 17 Escape has a slightly different electrical platform. No one has done it on a 16 or earlier Escape that I know of.

17 escape is different from 16 escape but it supposedly is still the c1 platform. Could you please link that article so I can check it out? If it does work I might be wanting to do this to my 13 which is almost identical to the 16. An I can report if it works as a little can grab the tcu I added to my dads truck.

Of course it works on a 17 Escape. They came with TCUs from the factory in same case.

Hi,i did it for my European 2012 C-Max(J-TCU from Focus mk4) i have successfully upgraded it with the Escape software since it is originally HS4,connected to the I-CAN bus through the OBD,but the TCU is not showing neither in Forscan or UCDS however the Sync3 is detecting it and the S/N is shown,i will try to connect it to the APIM 14/15 pins to see if this will make it visible this could be also related to the TCU being faulty.
