You guys made me worry for a second, but I just tried it on the first truck in this thread and it still works fine.

Mine still works but the retrofit is a 2017 f150 that already had the wiring in place

I got it as well a few days ago and can't get into any of my Ford accounts (credit, owner's, FordPass). Password reset doesn't work, and a quick Google search of that error code appears to reference being locked out due to multiple API's trying to access the account and it being a security lockout, but sounds like finding someone within Ford to unlock it has been a PITA.

I also noticed that the ConnectedCar website won't let me past the login page. I asked on the thread about that but haven't gotten any response there. Is it working for anyone else?

Default TCU on a country without ATT Service

Hi guys I've been following this thread from years ago, Now I bought a Ford Explorer 2020 and activated forpass in Florida, then I had to move to Dominican Republic where there's not ATT service, I don't need the hotspot only the remote control of the explorer in fordpass, but once it got shipped stoped working, I deleted it from fordpass and added it back but have not been able to activate it.
I have a 2017 escape I bought in usa also and it is working great on dominican republic, so I know Fordpass used to work out of the country on 2017 escape, is there anyway to make 2020 explorer work or what if I buy a 2017 escape tcu and install it on explorer will it work been the explorer HS4????
Please help!!

I went through the online chat on Ford's website and told the chat operator to connect me to a Ford Pass rep. Once connected I was able to talk to them and they told me that it would be 1 to 5 business days but I'd get a phone call. I was called today and was able to get my account back working.

I wouldn't recommend using Crazy8Ballers web interface because it is against Ford Pass's TOS and it results in an immediate lock of your account. (You will get an email from Ford via IBM and at the bottom of it it will say Enabled: False. This means your account is no longer enabled).

Maybe a work around would be to use a temporary account with the web interface just to get the TCU authorized, then do a master reset on your Sync 3 then connect it up to your actual account? Idk if that would work or not.
