I followed the original posts on Forscan changes including the 232 value for diesel and got through all those with no issues. I’ve removed the truck on Ford Pass and re-added it, getting the Sync pop-up allow message almost instantly. LTE signal in Sync is showing 3-4 bars. However the only features I’m seeing are location and distance to empty, no lock/unlock or start. I even received a Ford Pass message and email confirming the truck + remote features were activated. It took a few minutes to activate initially. I have removed and re added the truck once with the same results, also logged out and redownloaded the app but to no avail. Any advice?
How long are you giving it? Some people have said it can take a couple days for the buttons to show up.

Hi guys. Tell me, do you know what the reason is? Installed KT1T-14G087-EL instead of KT1T-14G087-FK, which does not work for us.

Does FordPass block modems? How to restore functionality if this is the case?
P.S. English is not my native language. I'm sorry for the mistakes.

show your asbuilt tcu numbers,
your top line likely isn't written correctly, ("unprovisioned mode"),
do you have copy of the spreadsheet?
oh yeah,
year and model would help also

Ford Edge 2019.
At first everything was fine

Then I had to remove the modem. After re-installation it turned out like this

That's how it's written when he was working

someone else will need to help you,
mine was a 2015, and I haven't worked in forscan for a few years now,
I don't recognize your coding, and I know things have changed a year or 2 back with the coding,

I do remember the "unprovisioned mode" being one of some first steps in resetting/rebooting the TCU to adapt to the vehicle,

do you have the google spreadsheet for your year ?

sorry, I'm mixing up the threads,
there are google spreadsheets for working thoughout all the vehicle modules using forscan, the TCU being just one of many modules,

not sure I can help you further,

maybe go back and re-read the 1st page, down deep in that first message are reset codes,
but, again, they look different than what you show above,
and changes had occurred with forscan,
there was some mention of jumping forward to ~ pages 218 (???) for vehicles after 2018, or something like that,

someone else needs to jump in and help here,

Ok, I just got this completed and working. I know this thread was started some time ago but I recently got a truck and wanted to make some updates and upgrades. Added remote start, and some other things and while researching those I came across this one for sync connect. It looked like a good upgrade.

I purchased a TCU online from a scrap yard that was from an Expedition and got an antenna from Tasca. I followed the instructions for installation and made a harness from the back of the cab to the front BCM, for power at pin 16, and then to the test port by the gateway. At first nothing showed up in the Sync menu but I unplugged and reconnected the TCU and shortly after the modem showed up on the Sync menu, but I could not see the TCU in Forscan. No matter what I tried I could not make that module show up. I connected to a 2018 Explorer that had a TCU and then selected that profile when connecting to my truck. I was able to get into the TCU and edit the As-Builts to put it in factory mode and then back. I deleted the vehicle from the app and then deleted the app for good measure.

After redownloading the app and adding my truck back I received the activation request. Shortly after activating from the app my Sync had the request pop up. After a few minutes I turned the truck off and the app still said it was pending activation. After waiting a while longer I closed the app and opened it again to find that everything was there! Remote start, door lock, tire pressure, fuel level, etc. Super exciting to have this working.

I was worried because the links to bypass Ford's servers were not working but following the process and many people have outlined in this thread worked just fine. I also used this guidance to help me, although I didn't do the firmware updates listed in the guidance. https://community.cyanlabs.net/t/how...o-work/12701/8 There is a pdf about halfway down that was helpful.

Thank you everyone who has posted here and helped!
