Thanks
I have mine set to 5553. Still no Sirius logos. If you leave it 5753 you will only have English (UK) and not English (US) for language settings.

Darn genius! Why didn't I think of that? Thanks.
Now instead of users wondering if they have a bad file they can compare their file hash to this value and know for sure.

99.9% of the time it’s not bad files, it’s them not following the instructions in post 1 and 2.

In Forscan it allows you to use an earlier calibration version for modules, I chose and older version made sure I downloaded all the files myself and put into the correct folder. It worked however there are error codes stored in the apim. Once I figure out how to do a PMI using IDS i will try again. However everytime I try to use IDS to do the PMI it states that it must be intitally started in OASIS which I don't havve access to.

I guess that would be the easiest way to do it. I just wanted the latest and greatest version but if there’s no noticeable differences and mine runs fine then I’ll probably just stick with the original build.

the problem is i cannot do a PMI in IDS with the sync 3 module cause i only have sync 2 cars! and i am not aware of us beign able to trick the system by making it think its plugged into a different car, cause it reads the vin from the car, or is there a way to manualyl change it make it think its plugged into a different vin car?

I *think* if you unplug the module before you do the PMI in IDS it will tell you over and over there is a communication error then eventually after 2 or 3 tries it will ask to manually enter the part # and you can go from there. The standard procedure IDS does is the inhale/exhale and you want to stop that. Wouldn't hurt to try.

I did a quick search for themes but not much came up. Am I crazy or are there basically only 2 themes? Lincoln is dark and Ford is blue. I keep switching them and nothing changes.
