You can't use most of what's listed in this thread. But you can go to the Russian Ford Focus Forums and or EU Mustang and Mondeo Forums to get everything you need. Global and North American Sync 3 systems have different file structures and licensing for navigation data so don't use anything listed in this F150 thread other than the format utility.
If you have the format utility, then you can find everything else you need from these great people:
Can one revert back to 3.3 if 3.4 gives a problem?

That makes total sense. How the hell do you guys figure this stuff out.
It's just a theory based on the documented hardware restriction of Ford's USB-C hub. Ford says it's only compatible with Sync 3.4
Also, I think Ford should list the part as only being compatible with with certain APIM's not certain operating systems. Ford probably never took into account everyone who would load V3.4 on non-supported systems.

He asked about 3.3 not 3.0. That is of course not possible.
Yes, I’ve gone from different versions of 3.4 back to 3.2 on an Edge that I rented while in Massachusetts a few weeks ago.
The Edge was a Non-Nav 3.3 19052 when I drove it off the Enterprise lot. Figured this was a perfect opportunity to screw around after my meetings and not mess with my original 3.0 system I upgraded, but an actual 3.2 and higher APIM. Played with 2 3.4 versions, took it down to 3.2 and left it back at the 3.3 19052 it originally came with.
Everything worked fine. Of course, if you are already on 3.2 or 3.3, there is no need to use the reformat tool. Just swapping OS.

I went back to 3.3 with no issues. the change didn't appear to take place at first then I shut the truck off and turned it back on and im at 3.3
Im wondering who is going to be the first to try installing the 10.1" screen in their truck. I cant find a part number for it or even a used one online to see what the connections look like.
For those of you who have successfully upgraded the APIM firmware/calibration can you comment on how you did it and what you used? I have UCDS with a extended license. This seems to be the preferred upgrade platform. Are you guys using the VBF File Loader in UCDS? If so does this look correct?
