No APIM changes are wiped. Only the operating system.

so should I backup my forscan settings and set it back to default before the upgrade to the OS? Think the first page said to do so. Just wanted to know if it was really necessary.

You can do what you think is best. Going back to stock is not necessary. Any changes to your APIM will not be affected by wiping the system and going to 3.2/3.4 operating system. You added heated seats to the screen, they will still be there after the upgrade.

I think the main thing is that the Ford GT theme is no more in 3.4 so if you have than enabled, you should change it. Otherwise you should be fine.

Also, it won't break anything, but if you enable nav in motion it will only let you set UK english not US english.

Got the first USB to work and wipe the OS but the second doesn’t seem to be working. Formatted the same as the first. Just removed the map files I wasn’t going to use.

Nope, if you have a Nav system, you have to install all the North American maps. If not, all kinds of errors will happen upon start.

You have a drive file structure error. All files except the resinstall.lst must be in a SyncMyRide directory. If you removed files and dint edit the .lst file, errors happen as well.

If you follow Apes directions to a T, you will not have problems.

Folder path looks the same. I didn’t edit the lst file and all the files are there in the proper folder. Could it be the size of the USB? It’s 16gb.

Edit: Nevermind. 16gb seems to be good. the contents are about 14gb
