can anyone verify if 3.4 doesn't work out can i flash back to 3.3 19052? Is it possible to "downgrade" sync 3? I'm sure curious to try it out but don't want to give ford any reason to void my warranty in any way.
thanks in advance!

No warranty voiding and yes you can go back to 3.2 or 3.3 if you wish.

Hi with 3.4 does Android Auto show up on the dash cluster? I read here that it was added:

Anyone that was/is having issues with Android Auto - version 5.1 was released yesterday and it fixed all my annoying problems. Google assistant is lightning fast again and works every time.Should be in your updates.

I did no one could confirm that it works on the f150, I figured this would be the best place for answers since so many have updated to 3.4 here. Someone said it's working on a fusion though.

For those with a bad gen 1 APIM - NA with NAV... My 2016 F150 APIM has been acting up for months (sluggish, locks up, GPS issues, Bluetooth issues,...). I am at the end of my patience as it started interrupting the Android Auto that seemed to still work. I found this note about the 3.4 and wanted to get a new Gen4 APIM that might support it, but before I dropped the $$$, I figured what the heck.. I downloaded and followed the instructions. Took 1 minute for the format and 30 minutes for the deployment. My system works like it used to. If your APIM is crapped out, this might fix the problem.
My best guess was a corruption in the voice or map files that would not go away with updates or downgrades. It worked fine, mostly, if I could get into android auto before the boot process completed. Now it works with and without android auto, although I do have to get the new USB hub as 3.4 doesn't like the one that came with the 2016. Android Auto still works, but have to dismiss the comment on USB version.
Thanks Ape and others for sharing this!!!! Saved me some $$$.

Good to hear; but these APIM problems seem to come & go. Mine did it for a while; I was lucky to get it replaced under warranty last summer before it expired. Give us an update in a week or two on how it's been.
