Thanks!
Take 2, stock firmware 2017 Lariat. I'm guessing the date at the bottom of the windowsticker is the build date; 09/08/2017

A Ford APIM is a Ford APIM, doesn’t matter what vehicle. Sync 2 retro fits, 3.0 stock systems and Ford pass systems have successfully been upgraded. If you have a hardware function, that hardware function will still work.
So my car came with 3.3, If I want to go back after updating to 3.4, you're saying it's possible? I didn't read the whole thread yet so I dont know if it was already covered somewhere in here, but if not, mind telling me where I can find instructions for that?

Re read the first post. Airborne_Ape has a diagram showing every scenario for upgrading and downgrading if desired.
AA has done a great job rewriting the opening post.

Ummm, My Ford Mobile is a phone app tied to electric and hybrid models. This thread is about in-vehicle infotainment system versions.

I think it is possible, but I also definitely think this is the wrong thread for your topic.

You should jump over to the other thread and maybe begin exploring what kind of TCU Ford stuffed in your vehicle and how it is wired. You might need a TCU retrofit. To my knowledge, nobody on the planet has accomplished what you are asking, but I think it should be possible.

Jump over here:

I'll take your old one if you are planning on junking it.

Plenty of users here would probably buy it from you as is. Texasfording and JM061 both fix and flip APIM's. You should message them and then not worry about the hassle of ebay.

Just re-read it 3 times because you asked me to

If you don't mind, please tell me where in the diagram it mentions anything about downgrading?
