Upgrade Sync 3 V3.0 to V3.4 instructions

I'm in the process of uploading the 2.2GB Non nav file to my OneDrive account. Once it has been uploaded, you will see both files are clearly marked as to be either Nav or Non Nav. Since you don't have Nav, download the Non Nav file. I have tested it on both my Mac and a Windows PC and it extracts without an issue.
Copy all the files to a USB drive. The file structure should be a SyncMyRide folder with 8 files and the root directory should be 2 files, dontindx.msa and autoinstall.lst
I will leave the directory open for access for 1 week before removing it: https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApUOIKBv8RTjg6F1...VV35w?e=F1PqKg

OK, I have searched high and low, I swear I saw at one time but now via search can't find here or just googling...my google-fu is weak these days...
For changing the splash screen and the themes like Lincoln theme, isn't there a list of the Forscan codes/options for both of those and which modules to edit? I must be missing it somewhere easy but can't seem to find it anymore.

No. The only relevant option which I suspect most 2015 to 2019 F150 owners here might miss out from (without a firmware update) is that at address 7D0-08-02 xxxx *xxx xxxx, Grancenotes now an on / off toggled control in the re-mapped As Built Settings. Livnitup has already taken his time to document all the other new addresses which you can see for yourself to gauge whether you want to skip the firmware update.
Anyone can preview the Lincoln theme by enabling it in Sync test settings which is accessed by either:
- If your Ford has a CD Player = turn on radio, then hold CD eject + seek forward on FCIM for ~10 seconds.
- If your Ford vehicle has no CD player = turn on radio, then hold seek forward on steering wheel + seek forward on FCIM for ~10 seconds.
Once in test mode, you can enable the option to add the embedded test settings screen to Sync 3 apps page which you've seen in my video upload. The moment you reset your vehicle it will default back to the Ford theme again.
To set content permanently or to see any new boot animation, you have to edit the APIM as built with Ford IDS, ForScan, or UCDSYS.
These are the available boot screens:
7D0-02-01 xxxx **xx xxxx
** = 03 - Lincoln Black
** = 04 - Presidential
** = 05 - Raptor
** = 06 - Mustang
** = 08 - Vignale
** = 09 - GT 350
** = 0B - ST performance
** = 0C - RS Performance
** = 0E - Continental
! Ford published the below boot animations to the public domain already and in most of their newer vehicles, but some are still under a press embargo, so don't post video's or screenshots of the new ones unless if you want to get sued by Ford.
** = 0F - Navigator
** = 10 - Ford Performance
** = 11 - Aviator (What I use & love)
** = 12 - Explorer
** = 13 - Corsair
** = 14 - Nautilus
** = 17 - Bronchitis![Jester](https://www.f150forum.com/images/smilies/jester.gif)
To set the Lincoln theme permanently configure this data in the APIM & BCM
APIM:
7D0-01-02 8XXX XXXX XXXX
7D0-03-01 XXXX X2XX XXXX
BCM:
726-31-02 XXXX 07XX XXXX
*** BCM data only needs to be changed if F150 = 2015 to 2017 & has a 500a package or higher. This is required to map the new ambient lighting settings properly.

Yea to get the features to match my build I flashed my factory asbuilt apim data, that fixed all of my features to match, also going through the running asbuilt against the spreadsheets. It's all correct. The whole reason I discovered the country code fix was it came working set to UK but missing climate and other stuff. My 3.4 is a NA version with the 1.19 NA maps. I used the package from cyanlabs.
I also tried going back to 3.3 and even a 3.2 build and it's the same no matter.
Every feature works, just separately, very strange. Like it's coded to kill gps if used in NA. Maybe it's just a matter of time before more eu 2019+ gen 4 apims get in NA circulation and someone finds a fix. Missing logos isn't enough to ruin my experience, I've got a 14 explorer sport running lincoln Grey design and explorer splash screen and it looks sweet!

So, it might be a different firmware revisions for NA and EU. I would suggest you to find a NA specific firmware and flash it to APIM, if you have the right equipment, maybe it is going to solve it.

hmmm i tried playing around with the settings, using 01 at 7D0-02-01 while having 7D0-01-02 set to 8 for the lincoln theme is still showing the lincoln splash screen, so i tried using C at 7D0-01-02 which says "configurable splash screen" in the spreadsheet and while it did give me the ford splash screen this time, it sent me back to the default ford theme.
Is there no way to use the lincoln theme with the ford splash screen?
EDIT: I also just noticed that the dimming option in my display settings is grayed out, is this normal?
