Ok, what am I missing? I downloaded the files, but when I go to extract them, my computer is not giving me the option. It shows Extract, but it is grayed out. The files were just straight downloaded, and have the full file name.tar.gz. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Hey all.. followed the flowchart and got to FOLDER4, which has 5U5T-14G381-EB and 5U5T-14G391-CL.

However, up above a few posts it is listed as 5U5T-14G391-CM.


Can anyone clarify whether the voice file for 5U5T-14G381-EB should be 5U5T-14G391-CL or 5U5T-14G391-CM?


(perhaps the CM is just a newer version that the CL?)

CL is the correct voice file for ED. Both are for 3.4 20136.

CM is for EG and are the correct files for 3.4 20196.

I don’t think AA has updated the files yet for 3.4 20196.

You can always download the files manually and edit the autoinstall.lst to reflect the changes. Links are a page or 2 back

Sorry looks like I was quoting the NAV files, and I'm looking for non NAV.

I searched the thread for 5U5T-14G391-BM but only see a couple references and no download links. Anyone that can point me towards that?

Been trying a couple methods to update my 2016 NON NAV from 19274 to 20196, but it always just sits there Updating for over an hour. No errors or anything.

Following the flowchart, it states that you can "try" installing, since it may not have enough memory. Is that my issue, and am I just stuck on 19274 permanently?

No you are not. As the apps file is larger for 3.4 then 3.3, there are a few different things you can try.
1. Downgrade to 3.3. Just the apps file as your not staying there so you don't need the matching voice file. After its done, then you can install the 3.4 20196 apps and matching voice file. I keep sharing and unsharing the 3.3 files. I should just share and keep the link active.
2. Remove gracenotes. There is a tool that will remove gracenotes which will free up room to install the new updated files. I have the tool and can post it, I'm on mobile right now and need access to a computer to share the files and then share the link. Same goes for #1 above.

I can share the files but it will be a few hours unless someone else has them and can share them for you until I'm able to.
