In the last 3 months 4 days, my truck has gone 202 miles. Parked in my garage, sealed and waxed in the first week or so of that...not even driven in the rain...have had no reason to post anything here lol

I bought it in June of last year and only have 6,322 miles.

But I probably have a couple trips of 1,500 miles each coming up in the next month so there's plenty of opportunity for interstate rock chips.

It probably does look worse than it was originally. When they pull the vacuum the crack can grow, sometimes even catastrophically. It is then filled with resin which should be stronger than the glass itself. I've had my F150 windshield repaired four times(30K miles) and I have worked with epoxy resin quite a bit so I have a fair bit of experience. That chip without repair would be a full blown crack after a few off-angle bumps, ex turning into a driveway with a big bump.

My newest truck accessory is a newer rebuilt windows laptop for $160 to replace my old XP based one that decided to crap its wifi. Why? FORSCAN, probably next week after I download all my stuff into it. Got my FORSCAN OBD adapter right at the start of this house arrest with work release equivalent;(

I kinda like that look, but the red on my blue truck will not match the FX4 sticker red (I actually like that color on the truck) . Plus, I am going black out mode with the dechrome process. I do like that look tho!
