Brew City Boost recommends .028, especially on tuned 3.5 EB.

I found I was getting misfires sometimes on all cylinders and sometimes on random cylinders during cold start idle as well as during normal driving with both the stock tune and the 5* 91-Perf tune. Even warm/hot idle was always not smooth. Note though that it never set a hard or soft code.
So this morning I pulled the Motorcraft SP-534's out that only had 10k miles on them. No indication of carbon tracking or porcelain cracking or any other issues. Plugs looked great, boots and springs looked good and gap was about .030"-.032" after checking. Installed Motorcraft M-12405-35T plugs gapped to .028" and Motorcraft WR-6135 boots and wow! what a difference. I was absolutely ready for them to feel exactly the same but I was pleasantly surprised. Cold start idle is still showing a tiny amount of misfires which I figure might be the nature of the beast but I now get zero misfires during driving and warm/hot idle.
I'm going to do some more testing today when I drive to my in-laws for dinner (about 120 miles round trip) but I think this is definitely the plug and gap this truck likes.
Never realized that Ford made a 4 wheel steering F-150.
After installing rear blocks, my steering wheel is off center. I was looking at trying to correct when, I, uhhh, made some mistakes. Alignment shop couldn't correct the steering, and I've measured the 3" blocks, and they're the same size with the set holes and such in the same place on both...
@eptesicus , I know you have 3" blocks on there, are they tapered? If so, check to see if both sides have the short side of the block pointing toward the front of the truck. FWIW, the OEM 1.25" block is not tapered.
Upgraded hi, and low beams. Much better visually, and the plus, I can actually see where I’m going now down those dark back roads, or going down the highway at night! Next is the fog lights. Debating on staying white, or going yellow?
Driver side led
Both led

Here I am quoting myself lol!! Anyhoo, got the fog lights done. Went with Sea Lights for the fogs as well, and decided to go with white instead of yellow. Very pleased that I finally did this mod!!

I just checked, but the 3" blocks are not tapered.
Plasti dipped the fender emblems black, removed the 4x4 decals on the bed side, added some odero floor mats front and rear, and leveled using a 2 inch spacer from Motofab.
Ha! This is great! I don't have a 3D printer so now you got me thinkin how I can fashion something like this up with a coat hanger or somethin...
Could be useful for my ol iPhone 6s that overheats way too often.. this would be the perfect perch so I don't have to hold it in front of the vent by hand
Yes I'm sure you could make this out of a coat hangar.
Sit in front of the tv tonight with a 6 pack and some hangars and needle nose pliers!
The hard part will be you have to keep running out to the truck for a test fit.
The long part is 140 mm's long and the short part sticking into the vent is 30 mm's long.
The part at the bottom is 80 mm's wide and the little tab is 25 mm's wide and it sticks out 12 mm's into the indent in the door.
Good Luck! Post a pic when you're done.
