@Toaster they look good as they are. Super Glue isn't noticeable, at least not in those pictures
Yeah, they were a little cloudy after the fact until I wiped them down with some rubbing alcohol. The rear one is the worst, but that’s not saying much. It has a couple of “strings” that dried across the face of the emblem, but nothing noticeable.
But now that I’ve done it, I know just how to do it the next time around with better results! Only $40 for paint, primer, and clear coat.
Drove my f150 to the airport. Flew the RV-4 to Mustang Island managed to top 200 mph both ways and fly upside down for a bit. Met another old guy flying a J3 cub on his way to Houston.
lol thanks bud- just busy with life stuff, and enjoying driving the big red F as much as I can! Recently got a revised tune on it from 5StarTuning and woooowwwww good times. heck of a good tuning shop.

Sorry- that is just too much fun for one day. that's awesome.
Painted emblems this weekend. Got some superglue residue on the ovals when piecing then back together. Oops.
I opted to make the F150 magnetic on the fender emblems. Originally was gonna do Ingot Silver on Lariat and F150, but I messed that up and didn’t remove the letters to paint them individually. Oh, well. Will likely order new ones and try again at some point when I feel up to it. Happy with a first attempt.
One of the best painted emblems I've seen posted. Good job
Drove from Dallas to Houston and back on Saturday to pick up a car for a friend. I have never towed anything before, so why not break in the new truck (and me) but towing a car trailer for 600 miles!
Felt completely effortless most of the time. Barely even knew it was there. Considering it’s the first time I ever towed anything in the history of ever, I think I did alright
Went so far as to lay out some pin stripe to try and imagine a retro look I might create with vinyl by adding a belly bandAttachment 559179

Had to google rv-4... flying upside down is definitely fun! Not so much if you’re not strapped tight though..
