Was it Yeager or Grabowski that also flew P39's at the start of WWII?
Took mine into the body shop this morning, won't have it back until Wednesday, or Thursday morning.
Did I miss something ?
Why is the truck going to the body shop ?
Ya, the rollbar, and the way the vinyl stops around the heads and tails sorta ruins it for me too.
Agreed, if I were to have it done it would definitely have to run right up to the heads/tail lights and blend in. Still its a nice way to set your truck apart and have a bit of an old throwback feel to it. Part of the reason I went with the chrome package was I had the sport package and when I buy a new truck I tend to go the opposite from what I had before.

You must have Phil. The right rear door somehow wound up with about a dime size dent, and scratches down to the primer. Too high on door to be a door ding. Shop and I both think someone threw something at the truck. Just over 1800 miles on it.

Have you checked into pricing yet?
No, I haven't yet, I expect between $600-$1000, might be a bit low on that. If, I decide to do it, I think I'd have them do one side first to see if I'll go all the way. Gay roan tee, it would be the only one like it.
Retro wrap : one shop quoted 1000.00 to 1400.00 over the phone here in Anchorage . I haven't followed threw but I contacted another shop requesting an appointment and hope to meet up soon . I agree about running the wrap up into light housings and also not a fan of the roll bar or kc lights .

fify.
Dang, John. First I've heard of it. Here's hoping you'll no longer see what happened after the shop is through blending it in.
In other news...
Shop had my truck for over five hours... had to use the camber bolts I bought just in case... another $250 labor... and... while the final specs are acceptable, the steering wheel is no longer level. GOTTA CORRECT THAT MYSELF (with an equal tweak on both tie rods to bring the rack back to center, without changing the toe setting).
Why are there no more decent front-end men these days? *rant*
