Yes @Cavalry67 these are the OEM plate holders #JL3Z-17A385-AA modified to mount on the two pads to either side of the center bumper grill.

Plate holder removed from center grill.

Remove all four mounting tabs from holder.

Line up plate holder to pad removed from bumper and mark and drill the two lower holes in the plate holder, I kept them closer to the outer edge of the pad for more air flow to the center.

Used two on the first plate holder and when I did the second side I ran an additional one through the center hole on both of them.

The rest is self explanatory.

^^^^This is what I did for my 2014 Flex since you can not get an OEM front plate holder for a Ford Flex. I used the one off my 17 F150.

Good job on the plate relocation. When I installed my Five Star bumper grille, I wanted something that would be a little less bulky, so I got this universal plate holder from Amazon that has many options for bolt locations and is the same size as the license plate so doesn't stick out around the perimeter.

Customised a Ruby Red Lariat grille by adding the chrome minor bars from my original grille, and added custom painted emblems from @mbullock.

The OEM plate holder from my dealer was only $14.44 plus tax in stock. How did you fasten the the holder with nuts and bolts through the grill mesh?

M10 bolts and nylon lock nuts, biggest I could get to fit through the honeycomb mesh.

Liked it so much I got a second one to eliminate the shaded spot created by the Super Duty recessed license plate lights and the trailer connector on my rear plate, used as a spacer to bring the plate flush with the trailer connector. $6.99 U.S. on Amazon.

Amazon Amazon

How did you do this? Are there proper after market brackets that you popped in or brackets that that you screwed to the moldings?
LOL, i just saw your answer to this further up.
Thanks

Friend painted my trim with Krylon Metallic Dark Metal and a gloss clear coat. I'm very impressed with how well it came out. Pictures don't do it justice. It's got a nice pearl in the paint and makes the interior looks miles better over the plain Lariat trim

Looks good. Those trim pieces on the doors and console are scratched in mine. I feel like they'll scratch if you look at them the wrong way.
