They're a popular "mod" in the Jeep world. Many cars have height-adjustable seat bottoms/whole seat heights. I guess if you want to see this much --->| |<--- better over your F150's hood, then, these can be for you. Who knows.

I bought a 1 inch thick aluminum bar on Amazon and cut/drilled my own seat spacers. I only put them on the driver seat though. Its a little more comfortable for me.

After replacing those pee yellow license plate bulbs with bright white LEDS, I noticed a similar yellow tinge to the cab cargo lights at night. Very annoying!
Amazoned a set of four LED 921 bulb replacements for about $8 with good review, non polarity types. Swapped them (2) out today. I’ll be checking them out tonight. I’m starting to need a truck parts box so not to lose the spares and for small parts removed![Wink](https://www.f150forum.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Only other bulbs I might replace are the backups but I want plug & play, most I’ve checked state may require a resistor added for them to function ;( Not paying VLED pricing.
I replaced the backup lights on my 2008 Explorer a few years back for a HUGE difference in light. I don’t see the need for people further away to see my stop or turn signals. I can see the added benefit of better headlight and fogs but they are $$ and fine for now.

The resistors are only required for turn signals to eliminate the hyper flash. Any bulb that does not flash does not need the load of a resistor.
