Yeah wish I would've gone out and bought a Dremmel for that. It was a PITA just using a utility knife.

Now you tell me! I didn't even think about using the acorn bit when I put mine in. Like Spaniard85 I made several cuts with a utility knife.

Failed DEQ

I failed DEQ today due to catalyst, O2 sensor and O2 heater being UnReady. Now the fun begins to figure out what the previous owner had done to it. I’m guessing maybe there is a tune since I have no check engine lights on and gone on enough road trips already the drive cycle should have been reset.

I installed the Exxtream console safe by Lock’er Down. And the Lock’er Down gun magnet. It was an easy setup.

Bought it! Jkjk, that was the other day. I gave it a wash before it got dark, since that happens at like 5pm now.

Yea, I found on some other threads on here that even after finishing the drive cycle people couldn’t pass unless they reflashed back to stock before going. Now I’m trying to use google-fu to see how I can tell if there is a tune on this thing.

Last night I made my Forscan edits to the new truck. LED halos as DRLs, disabled double honk, global windows, temps in the cluster, and enabled Bambi mode.

Tonight I took off the top end of the intake box and put on an open filter. Makes the 5.0 sound like a beast!
