What did you do to your truck today?

Did the cold feet-heat vent drivers side fix (like pictured below) out some old tin I had laying around. Turned out well and hope it works. Heading up to do some ice fishing and want warm feet.

I had the same thing but what I did was heated up the liner with a hair dryer and with a utility knife cut three sides of a square around the bolt and opened it up like a door to get the socket in there. After I was done, I closed up the door. Can barely see it unless you look for it. You kind of have to feel where the bolt is going to be and cut a big enough door so you get to it. I think about a 1 inch by 1 inch door should do.

I had 2020. The size and interior was perfect for me but the transmission, brakes, and A/C were awful. Transmission would downshift and throw me forward while coasting at 40 mph, the brakes would cause the whole truck to shake up and down on the highway, and the A/C smelled like poo. Also, while coasting on the highway, the transmission would take a split second to kick in after pressing the gas pedal - slight lurch forward.
I loved everything about my 2020 Tacoma, except actually driving the damn thing. Traded it in for what I originally paid, minus TTL.

So they can say we warned you.

Cut up my Grille
So I accidentally snapped one of the plastic tabs that holds the horizontal piece on my grill when I changed the headlights.
I was going to just cut all the tabs and remove the upper and lower trim and replace with mesh when I found billet aluminum inserts...
I like how it turned out

Gave it a "Hobo" bath in 34 degree temps just to get most of the road salt off.

Finally installed my Access TonneauSport bed cover. Seems to be good quality for being relatively inexpensive.

I have had the same cover for 3 years and still looks like the day I installed it. It is an excellent quality tonneau cover. I treat it with "303" occasionally and it's good to go.

Ran mine through the car wash. Road salt and dirt was horrendous.
After I got home I found all kinds of black specks all over the tailgate. Never seen them before in winter, stuck firmly, managed to get half off with a cloth. Like I just ran through a bunch of cold patch spots, like tar. High of 35F. Next time it’s above 40F, I’ll be out with the clay bar ;(
