I’ve been having problems with mine. Last year it started fine for a while, then it seemed to want the A.S.S. on to start. I have the pigtail A.S.S Eliminator.
This year it work a few times, then nothing. I pulled my Haulgauge unit from the OBD and tested the remote start, worked! ONCE! Then no response.
Just now I pulled the Start-X unit box out and disconnected the two electrical plugs. That was a real PITA getting to and cutting the zip ties holding it snugly under the dash. Went through the connection/programming procedure. Test started it three times. Left it hanging off the steering wheel tilt lever for now with another cable tie, loose.
Like any other logic circuit, disconnect power and reboot. Did the trick so far.
I’m too like my Dad, I build things like they are going to last forever and not need torn apart for repairs. At least when remodeling my house, I made sure I had easy access for gas lines, plumbing and electrical repairs. I had the Start-X tightly secured up under the dash with extra wiring bundled snug. I’ll do it again but make sure the cable ties are easy to cut.

Same, My buddy just got a 2020 Scab 2.7 4X4 and I asked him about the engine sound and he said he never noticed it.
Did they only do it for a few years ?

Had it since 2015, but only on Lariats & up as far as I know. The only way I have ever heard it is in sport mode when I juice on the fun pedal
