Any advice on installing the rear shocks. I did the opposite and yesterday had the fronts put in, now i gotta do the rears
Was pretty easy, took me an hour total including gathering tools, etc. Someone mentioned that the mounting area of the Bilsteins was not quite as wide as the factory shocks and so they added washers. I added one washer at each mount on inside of top and bottom shock mounts - they fit pretty tight like that but we’re a little sloppy without (before tightening down). Also, I used my floor jack to raise each side to just the right height for the shock (with band around it) to get the hole perfectly lined up. Other that than, just wrench turning.
A 16yr old girl changed lanes into me in downtown Houston... her mom said to her “REALLY?!?! You couldn’t see that great big truck?!?” Similar damage too - step, flare and a light scratch down my doors from her mirror... $2300 was the estimate. I bought the Amp steps instead, found a like new take-off flare on eBay and will have scratch fixed soon.
Side note - I did install my rear Bilsteins today! Appt Friday to have fronts installed along with alignment. I was leaning to the 1.75” setting, but I have over 3” of rake currently... so rethinking the 2.1” setting, and then replacing the rear block if I want a tad more rake.
Ouch. Was most of it the scratch? It doesn't seem to take a lot to ramp up the $ when damaging painted body panels. It tagged both of your doors?
I'd go with taller. Can always add rear block easily to get the right front/back shift and just be taller if you do that than if you do 1.75
Installed heated mirrors with turn signals
Some of these add ons are just too easy
second pair of mirrors I bought because the first set didn’t have the AAT sensor on the passenger side AND mine being a ‘19 I don’t have the harness/plug to relocate it
Those will be listed for sale soon
I ordered a 2019 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 on July 26th.
I picked it up Friday, October 25th.
So far I have installed 3M paint film on the grill, headlights, fog lights, front quarter panels, pillars, full hood, door cups, and a small section on the front of the roof.
Installed VLED license plate backup light.
Painted all 4 calipers with G2 epoxy paint.
Applied anti-seize to wheel mounting surface and lug studs.
Installed Hercules one piece lug nuts.
Installed aluminum screen in front of radiator and inter-cooler cores.
Installed Eye-Catcher F-150 on tailgate.
Sprayed Chip Guard on the trailer hitch and spare tire steel rim.
Installed 303 Stainless hose clamp on tailgate to help detour theft.
Tomorrow will be more goodies. I took all week off to install my extras and then off to Zeibart Thursday for under coating, sound deadener, leather treatment, Diamond Gloss, and Rhino spray on liner.

Don’t be surprised if you start snapping lug studs after putting anti seize on them.
Link to that one? Not liking my truxedo so much anymore.
I do like it a lot, with a drop in liner it was a little harder to install that not but didn't take long at all. I like that it rolls up and doesn't block the back window.

I did this on my old Tacoma, and it actually worked, twice. Both times came out to the truck with the tailgate cables removed and camera harness detached, but tailgate still on the truck. It would be easy to defeat, but they're looking for something they can take quickly. The good news is, your Lariat tailgate will lock with your doors, so no need to worry unless you leave the tailgate down.
