I’ve been looking for this grill since I purchased my truck in September 2019. I found it in the local classifieds and a buddy of mine painted it for me. I think it looks so much better.
I didn't even notice it and now it's eating away at me. I haven't noticed any noise, but it definitely warrants further inspection and probably a preemptive shim.
Sorry Remy. didn't mean to do that to you. But when I saw that I had to mention it. I noticed it at cold startup and idling at times.
I'm wondering if a woodworking clamp could be used to push them apart without warping the tips.
I tapped some wood between them and left it there and pried back a bit.. So it would have a "memory" for it to stay that way. Also you can use a steel tongue type of crow bar with a rag around it so you don't dent or scratch the chrome. (BE CAREFUL) pry it out about an inch and hold it there for a minute or so. Or try whatever creative way you are comfortable with. But first check adn see if you here the tinging sound on cold start up. try it with remote start and stand, look and listen to your exhaust while it starts up.. if it doesn't do it. then don't worry about it...
After having my new 2019 F-150 King Ranch for 2 whole days, I added my first Mod: New 13" antenna.

I think that you're seeing a reflection of a house and not the gasket.
