not sure if this holds true for this generation but I had this problem on my 2013 with the 5.0. Leaking coolant and couldn’t find the problem. Luckily the dealers tech had seen the problem before.

the thermostat was not working properly and causing the hoses to swell just enough to start leaking. They wouldn’t crack or bust just swell and leak. The dealership replaced the thermostat and all hoses. It was a pretty pricey fix but the dealer covered the cost for me because it happened just after I bought it used.

I had to take the truck to the spray and wash I had so much snow and ice had built up on top of the running boards I had to carefully chip away at my driver side just to get the door open. I figured the power washer was a better option for the other 3 doors.

Took mine for a wash today too. I keep a membership in the winter months, because i hate the salty dirty looks.

More snow coming on the weekend!!!

Added an Adarac Aluminum Series rack (part number F3010072) to my rig so that we could take our kayaks on a Florida adventure over the holidays. This works with the Paragon tonneau cover and is rock solid. I was very surprised that it produces no wind noise either with the Kayaks loaded or empty so I just left them on since the trip. Highly recommend if you need a rack that fits with a tonneau.

That looks fun. We pick up our new Airstream in June and have 2 weeks booked at various campsites all around Florida in November. I have a much longer drive, from Vermont.

Used some Fordpass points to buy and install the tailgate assist. Definitely recommend having a second set of hands to remove and reinstall the tailgate. It’s not that heavy but it’s very cumbersome.

What is your reason for combining a bottom load mount with a side load mount for each kayak?
