I had the eight inch. It works with every model f150 2015 to 2019. In the setting you go and configure it to your trim level and options. Then it sets itself up to work properly in your specific truck.
Cool... Need a non-oem I guess to retrofit my '01.

ambiant lighting is a feature you can just go to and choose. If you have it it will work. If not than nothing happens when you play with it. You can choose a higher trim level. But only what you have will work. I fooled with the higher trim levels all my stuff still worked just the other features on the display did not. It dosent have the massaging seat feature yet even though it allows you to choose it. They are adding updates to it. So people need to check and see what they may not receive right away and decide if they can live without it. While they wait. It had everything I wanted except android car play. Which I realy never used before.
Like when it was first released it had the same EQ as sync. People said they wanted better. So they developed this and released it for free on thier website. If you are a registered owner. You get all thier updates for free. Audioslave (show me how to live) video.

Does the screen come with the bezel? How well does it match the OEM piece?
yes comes with everything you need for a plug and play install. Bezel matches perfectly.
My '01 has a.. "double din," (?.. 2-tier tall) radio. Aftermarkets have screen-rigs, $99, $199 & up, I'm sure, for these. Once all queries are finished with the topic years in question, perhaps someone can discuss our oldies... tenth gens.
