That is an interesting thought. One more thing to shear off rubbing some rock the wrong way. Since in such an extreme case as needing to drain the axles, extra well, a jack tips one, then the other towards the differential.

You'd still need to remove the axle to clear the shavings. And file a.small.flat spot, (thinning the rolled axle tube material,) create.a.curved washe.ans shoulder bolt affair,.or use a.v small fine thread bolt. Not impossible, but possibly problematic. Maybe a way to add.compressed air so as to help the oil move to center. Or, just a refill hole on top of the axle, near each wheel. Hmmmm...! LOL!

Pro hint;
Before the final two or so sandings of a gunstock, steam is used for a cpl minutes, to "raise the whiskers." Sand ever so gently, against them.

Running just two...have a Sundown Audio SALT-4 currently but it isn't enough for these 12" Zv5's. With the SALT-6 I'll have enough power even though some will say a SALT-8 would be better. Also I can run my underseat set-up at 2ohms giving them a little more than RMS which is underpowering but if I have them in it's because I am being nice bass wise. I had the four Gately Relentless 8's on the SALT-4 at .5 and they really got down but that's a bit much for them although they took it. I'll be running 112 Headway Lithium with a Mechman370 and Big 3.

Installed Powerstop Z36 brake pads and rotors kit today as well as a tire rotation. Just have to do the break-in process now.

I think the correct term would be bedding in the brakes. Break in works too though, but yeah does sound strange being break and brake are so commonly interchanged by accident.

I’ve been eyeing the Z36 setup. Are the drilled/slotted rotors necessary for those pads, or do many believe solid or plain rotors work fine with them?
