Have you considered checking salvage yards for one? I did so and programmed it myself with Forscan. Fairly simple. Granted, I did not get to have it customized but it satisfied the itch while being in my budget at the time.

Replaced all of my tail bulbs with LED's. Used Forscan, went through the BCM and disabled the bulb out notification which shows quick turn signals on dash.

I bought mine an ESP. I've never done that before for a vehicle, but I've also never had one before with seemingly everything run by electronics. I'm not getting any younger either so some things I might have done myself previously I think I won't want to do again.

I repaired the infamous crack in the valve cover with some permatex black. I felt it was much easier to do that then have it warrantied only to crack again later.

Yep! I did the same.
I bought mine off Amazon, but there are other sources, like these guys
https://www.protuninglab.com/alt-jh-...s-fled-rd.html
They are definitely chinesium for the wiring, but they look pretty much spot on. It will be interesting to see how durable they are.
They look so close because they're also sold as a aftermarket replacement for stock LED lights.
Its a little crazy...they want almost as much for 1, as a replacement for the stock LED, as for 2 when they're incandescent replacements. (I think the only difference is additional wiring to plug in your existing BLIS sensor on the "LED replacements")

They come with adapters to run in the 15-17 trucks and plug-in LED hyperflash resistors.
I forgot the LED's are actually raised vs the surface of the bed, this allows them to be seen from the front of the vehicle. (and side mirrors)
I've always wanted a set, but balked at the $700 price for used. (plus screwing around with Forscan to correct the hyperflash)
These were $358 so I thought, WTH. Still stupid money for...tail lights? lol

I do want to know how they hold up. They’re the ONLY good looking aftermarket led lights I’ve ever seen. The rest are god awful, even the new morimotos.

I don’t normally spend money on things for my truck that I don’t actually need or will benefit in a useful fashion, but I actually do want these.

I'ma order a pair of those and run a bead of clear silicone around the perimeter to keep moisture out. Just trying to find the best price on them.

Got it back from the dealer with a new APIM. The startup time and responsiveness is so much better!
