Before looks better. If you’re trying to get away from the chrome, I think either the STX or Lariat Sport grille would be winners.

I've looked at everything everywhere, plan now is to clean up (still has the dried shaving cream spots on it...mentioned before) the original grill tomorrow, hopefully get it cleared up and put some sealant on it tomorrow then swap it back Monday.
Meanwhile I'm shopping around to see how low I can get an STX/SE color matched honeycomb grill. I might bite the bullet and get one of those otherwise just leave it stock chrome two bar.
I'm asking some local dealer parts departments for quotes on one of these

Wife is right. Chick's dig the Ford grille. Match the upper and lower grille. She won't be able to keep her hands off you. I just had to swat my girlfriend away as I was typing this.
I belive everyone here gets them either ebay or Amazon. I got mine a long time ago from Auto anything. Back then they only came charcoal grey. I had mine painted to match Tuxedo black. Now you can get em in black.
Also ordered another new grill as a result of wife constantly saying "it's terrible, it looks like a generic non-name-brand truck now"
Just picked a Raptor look-alike from Amazon that will say FORD in huge letters so she can stop telling me it looks like a Chinese generic truck. Still black honeycomb genre of course which is all I want out of it.
The damn STX grills are just too expensive right now to justify
i havent done anything to big red recently, she has been running great with no issues. i might use her to tow a 1964 mercury parklane marauder but she's been good to me

Will a 2018 XLT Sport front oval fit in the STX OEM grille? I'm kicking around the idea of swapping mine also.
