It's wasn't until after I moved out of CA did I realize the regulation burden that exists in the state. That's not to say it's not an issue elsewhere, it just seems to be greater in CA. As silly as it sounds. I remember feeling like I moved to another country when I was able to tint my front windows (drivers and pass), only have one plate (keeping the clean lines on the front of the car plate free) and have colored Bug Deflector on the hood (you can't have colored Bug Deflectors - think red or blue).
I know it all small stuff, but it adds up.
Hopefully the PoPo isn't Loco and they leave you alone. It's been years, but I don't recall seeing too many (if any) of those bull guards when I was driving around Nor-Cal.

Duly noted. California does have some pretty petty things they sweat people over. I'm hoping it won't be an issue but if it does I'll relocate it. I wonder if this is legal in CA. http://www.rdpstore.com/p-1229-remot...tem-400eu.aspx

but I had to cut the bottom of the cubby for the switches to fit properly. I also had to solder the wires directly to the switches because the quick connects were too long and the panel wouldn't sit flush with them connected. it's a little pricy but I liked the setup so I bit the bullet.
Thank you for the info. I remember seeing one of his youtube videos and how he developed the product. I will reach out to him and see what he can do for me. I appreciate the quick response.
