Noticed you asked legally, not sure those are legal. When I was a deputy sheriff we had a machine that we could slide over the window to see how dark tha tint was and I;m not sure that would pass, I know here in Arizona its 35 percent on the front two windows, but the back can be as dark as you desire, which I have never liked, becasue that;s not only an officer safety, but also a safety thing for the people riding in the back,

I had 5% on a Ford ranger and backing up was a nightmare, so I decided on the new truck to go 20% and backing up it's a breeze, honestly from the inside it's not as dark as it seems, and during the day you can actually see through the drivers windown, I have 20% all around including windshield and it's great for me, I work roadway construction and always under the Miami sun, so I needed it.
No problems at night so far and had the truck for 9 months

35% windshield top to bottom
20% all 4 rollup windows.
Totally illegal and i'm fully aware. But driving around never having to wear sunglasses or block the sun with your hand, its worth it to me. I feel safer driving around knowing the sun will never be a factor with visibility. And driving at night is just fine.
