I did not remove the panels. I left the parts 'long' and then trimmed them with a new razor blade and insanely sharp scissors. I was able to tuck the wrap under the adjacent trim on the bottom and wrap it around the trim on the sides. The top is an easy wrap into the gap. Take your time and it'll look great.

I goofed on the driver door and didn't leave enough material at the top when I cut out the keypad. I had another piece, but didn't feel like doing it all over again. That's why there is a seam at the top. I also got a little aggressive with my nip/tuck on the lower left of that same panel and tore the wrap - I decided to patch it for the time being. I know it's there, but other folks have to really look for the defects.

I dig the carbon fiber. Looks good. I was thinking of doing that myself but using Plasti-dip. Saw a video on youtube, a guy did a CF look on his iPad. I was wondering how it would look on the side panels.. Nice truck!

Dropped in a K&N Air filter today.

Would you post a side view picture of the truck? I want to see if the panels stand out.

That'll have to wait until tomorrow. The panels are much subdued over the glossy (easily scratched) OEM panels. There is no glare - just a sheen. They appear like a semi-gloss matte finish from a distance.

Here is another F150 Forums member's truck.
