I carry a jump pack with air compressor, rachet straps, gloves, breaker bar w/22 mm socket, duct tape, first aid kit, towels, seat belt cutter, glass breaker, 3 flashlights, snacks, bottled water, jacket, blanket.

One of those tall plastic peanut container with a few pieces of TP in it has served me well on long drives through metro areas that don't have any place to stop and take a leak.

I keep a full inventory of whats in the truck for when my wife is in it and trying to find stuff she needs. My friends have also borrowed it and found the list useful. Every so often I go update it and rotate a few things out. Still need to get a few more things I want but I am not there yet. My list is in no specific order other than location.

Fire Extingquisher, you never know when you might come across a vehicle fire! I also carry a rechargeable car starter, then if someone needs a jump I don’t have to worry about trying to position the truck!

Diawa mini-spin rod and reel - under rear seats. You never know when you will come across a fishy-looking spot...
