yup, if you want a decent interior that is somewhat at the same level of the new Ram, you need to step up to the Lariat...

This is a dealer package, not what Ford builds from the factory. You can't compare this to what the others are talking about. What you've shared is the same as any layperson buying the truck and swapping out Katzkin leather when they drive it home. Not the same as how it's built.

Thats a dealer "special". Definitely not a factory issued package. Says right on it, Katzkin leather.

No, this a program offered through Ford. Sure people upgrade their interiors all the time. It is true that dealers and leather and charge you for it. That is not the case here. The leather and liner comes free through a Ford promotion.

A factory package would be something that rolls off the factory floor. You're not going to find Leather + Liner package from FOMOCO, thats a dealer package. Go on Ford website and build an XLT with leather then report back. Do you think Ford is going to sell their trucks with Katskin branded seats?
