Well of COURSE the cab size remains the same! Why change 5 star structure to make a new gen when all they need are new skins and interior panels. that post is a complete DUH! How to make a new generation, make it look different, change up the interior, and Whammo, new Gen truck. SMH

I keep telling the folks here...but these people that say ‘they saw the truck’ can’t get over it...
I helped review the designs, the truck is the same...one could take the 21 body and land on a 20 chassis without major issues.
the upcoming 24 truck (maybe 23?) will be a brand new design, brand new interior and very few carry over parts - revised engines are in the works right now and we will likely drop the V8 (tbc)

Ummm, I hope that everyone realizes that my Post #1777 was purposely ridiculous. ![Jester](https://www.f150forum.com/images/smilies/jester.gif)
I mean, come on, arguing about door dimensions?
When the 2021 comes out, people are going to be blown away by the interior and all the new tech toys, and our pre-2021 trucks are going to look like antiques.

Come people, now y'all are drinking the devil child's Kool-Aid. Yes, the cab size is most likely the same, but that doesn't mean the body lines are. They can change the body lines without altering the size of the cab. This subject is getting ridiculous. I can't wait for the reveal just to keep people from posting about the doors and/or cab being exactly like the current gen. No, it's probably nothing groundbreaking, but do y'all really think the doors will be interchangeable from a 2020 to 2021? Were they on a 2008 to a 2009? The answer is no. We're talking about people that have actually seen the finished product and y'all want to argue. Unbelievable.
it’s the same truck with a mild refresh, get over it.

Seems a lot of semantics are being entered into, with words like "size" being added to the "not changed" comments now.

From the horses mouth "Ford", this is a redesign. So yes, this is a new F150 for 2021. Ford stated that it would be more revolutionary than evolutionary meaning not to expect anything radical like the new Silverado which leads to my point. The GM twins basically have the interior design as the previous generation. The new Ram basically has the same drivetrain lineup as the previous generation and the new F-150 will more that likely have the same dimensions. Why? Because when the 2015 was introduced it surpassed the Mercedes, BMW and other flagship luxury sedans in terms of interior space. So there is just no need to make the cab any bigger when Ford set the bar and made everyone else catch up. Let's face it, the cab is huge. Rather it's enough of a change or not is your opinion but it's still a new redesign. Even though the 2018 was called a refresh, you can go back to the old thread and see that some felt is was not a big enough change for them to trade in their 15-17. The 2021 maybe enough but to some it may not be enough. The 2015 was such a huge jump that the other trucks in this segment are just now catching up.
