I'm in the market but have been holding off to see the latest. I can say that I'm pretty impressed and glad I waited. I mainly use a truck for camping, DIY projects, and alot of highway travel. The android auto, fold-out console, hybrid, generator, and work tail gate are all features that really appeal to me. I'm alittle worried that the hybrid is only available on the 3.5l eco. I have that motor in my Flex and the water pump location is not ideal...maybe they fixed that since then? I'm also worried about adding so much complexity from a first gen system. I wonder how it'll hold up in the long run?
I'm glad they kept the 5.0 and that'll probably be the motor I end up with with the 2.4 KW system. Bringing back Guard Green is HUGE for me since I've been waiting for a green truck. Now just to see what Bronco has to offer!

Well I'm glad they finally revealed the damned thing so I can comment a bit. A couple of things that you might find interesting. Obviously you know now that some things like LED headlights and push button start have trickled down to the XLT. There are better camera options and other stuff too. The larger hybrid can attach to your house if you have a power outage. All you need is an outlet on the exterior of your house hooked to an internal transfer switch. Center console will have wireless charging, USB and USB-C ports. The pockets on top of the tailgate are not just for clamps. They will allow you to attach aftermarket and Ford work tables and other stuff. The fold flat seats are bad ***. A huge thing for me and something I've nagged engineers about is we finally get the option of MONOTUBE shocks. They are so much nicer than the standard twin tube stuff we have had for years. The leather is a lot nicer than before. The large screen has some cool split screen options that give you a lot more info at once than the current screens. The side mirrors show a great deal more than the current gen. Tow mirrors are roughly the same as now. Frames are improved. The front bumpers attach much differently than before and should give a more consistent fit. There are some really cool rims coming. The interior on every trim level has a much nicer feel than the current generation. More cameras than the current trucks. You will be shocked at the size and sleekness of the hybrid batteries. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but it's late and I'm tired.

Absolutely love the 220V outlet. That opens up a whole new world of possibilities for those of us not fortunate enough to have a 220V outlet in the garage. Interior changes, not so much. That new dash looks ugly and too packed together. Call me old fashioned but I don’t understand why everyone wants to make their dash look like a tablet.

About the famous freezing door latches that
plagued 2015-2020 models, I noticed there are no more plastic bezel around door handles in 2021...one less water entry source I guess !
Nothing have been said about payload? HDPP availability?
