I noticed the dual exhaust on the Limited went away, i.e. no HO 3.5. I'm not crazy about the Limited colors, but I really need to see it in person to make a final judgement.
Anyone who has a 2019-2020 with the HO 3.5 I bet it holds its value.
There are a lot of new things which makes the 2021 better, but I wonder what 2022,2023,2024 will bring as well.
My 2019 is paid for, so I'm not going to go into debt for "new" at this time. However in a year or two maybe.

Having a 2020 on order right now I perused the material for the 21 and there were a number of things that made me question whether or not I'd want to wait. I love the idea of the bigger screen and bigger information cluster. Dig the new front end and I'm very curious as to what the ratings will be on the Powerboost engine. As I looked through all of the new options, I kept seeing more and more dollar signs. Depending on what options are available at different trim levels, it wouldn't surprise me to see it approaching an $80k price tag. Heck, there isn't that much new tech that was introduced from 17 to 20 and a comparably equipped truck was about $5k higher in price.
All that being said, I could see picking up 2024-2025 truck once all the new wrinkles are ironed out.

Easy fix for the OTA updates. Unplug the antenna! Problem solved. Now the real question is, being that it is OTA, did Ford encrypt the canbus? If so, then forscan will get locked out until they figure out how to break the encryption, and if they do it, then so can anyone else, and gain control of the systems through OTA. Can you imagine if a hacker got into the Ford system and shut everyones OTA equipped vehicles down? I think there was a Die Hard movie where they did something like this to the city. Yeah, OTA seems like a great idea, until some nefarious fool decides to play Electrogod.

I've been following this thread like a kid waiting for Christmas and this is only the second post to mention the underbite front end of the 2021. Ford says this is a bolder and tougher model. Looks like tough means getting punched in the face and getting a fat lower lip. Butt ugly.
Besides that I'm impressed. The larger center screen, onboard generator and fold-flat center console are nice improvements.

Opinions will always vary and you cannot satisfy everyone. Some are complaining about the black plastic on tbe center stack around the screen. If Ford puts wood there then some would complain it looks old. If Ford uses another color like Silver then it's too bright. If they use something like a carbon fiber then some would say it looks cheap and fake. Next people really seem to be contradicting themselves. I see the same people complaining that exterior looks the same and it is a refresh and not all new. Then the same ones say it looks like a GMC Sierra. So which one is it? This confirms that people make knee jerk reactions without thinking it through and want something to complain about. Over at the other forum I saw people complaining about the stow away shifter being "just a another thing to go wrong". Yet, these were the same people bragging on the GMC tailgate, go figure.
