Wouldn't the push-button start on XLT's be bad news? That only makes it easier to steal the truck, if the bad guy clones your fob with a wireless gadget.

At the end of the day if they want to steal your truck they are going to do it. Whether you have push-button start or a key.
I think at least needing the combination of both the key and fob chip would make it a little harder to steal than just the fob. And I've never understood the benefit of a push-button start. What is actual utility we get from that feature?

You walk up to the car, open the door, jump in, and push a button. Never have to touch the key, pretty damn nice in my opinion. Have you ever had a vehicle with it?
Well, I guess that's kinda nice. So no, I've always had a regular key. These trucks sure do baby us! Wasn't there a time back in the day, back inna dhey, when trucks were more tough and blue-collar-ish. Now, they seem a lot more delicate and fragile and all prissy and shiny.
