Has anyone seen any good pictures of smokey quartz metallic? I found in 2017 explorers in the color and the 2019 and 2020 GMC's have the color. The GMC looks like it has a brownish looking color, where the explorer has more of a greyish/blue color.

So...what is going on with the 5.0 - does it have cylinder deactivation or not? I do not see anything on Ford's website but its been reported by various automobile news outlets.

My guess at this point is that Ford is slipping it in attracting as little attention as possible.

Or Ford is launching the 2021 without it and debuting it on 2022 models as an "upgrade",

Or it'll be info they mention once the engine lineup is confirmed, specifics i mean, still no power/efficiency info release yet?

This devastating hurricane in Louisiana reminded me that the Powerboost Hybrid with the 7.2 Kw option would be ideal for people living in hurricane zones that own trucks.

Especially the hundreds of thousands without power right now.

Even though I have a stationary 8 Kw propane generator now, this is a $750 option I would definitely choose.

You could use it camping, trailering, tailgating etc., and in emergencies, as a home power backup. For $750, if you get the Hybrid Option. Very cheap insurance.

This article explains it in detail, it even says that while driving down the road with your trailer, you can run the fridge and trailer A/C off the truck.

Now that is new!! https://news.pickuptrucks.com/2020/0...generator.html

it’s the 7.2-kW system that really has the potential to be the ultimate camper trailer rig. That 240-volt, 30-amp output is more than enough to run all the systems on a huge camper trailer. The trailer’s air conditioner, fridge and freezer, lights, and just about everything else can be run even while the truck is pulling it, not just when it’s stopped and parked. Don’t need to keep the camper powered? It can also recharge your electric all-terrain vehicles or dirt bikes while you’re driving. And Ford says there’s no impact to the hybrid performance while you’re running and the Pro Power Onboard system is activated.
