Oh wow!! I would have LOVED this on my XLT for all the eating and possible laptop without twisting my back. It looks like it requires a console shifter though? Which means you could use it while driving (food, not laptop obviously)

No sir, this is an STX that he is in and neither the XL or STX packages come with a console shifter. As a matter of fact this is on the back of a seat that has been folded down. I imagine this will be available on all non console trucks. That should include 100a , 101a, 300a, 301a, 302a, and even Lariat 500a.

Oh man, I used the wrong words for steering column shifter. I was staring right at it and called it a console shifter, duh. But yes I didn't catch that it is the bench seat folded down, and I hate the bench style. Oh well! It's still awesome functionality for the trims that can have it.

I think it's only available if you get a bench seat in front. I don't think a center console will have it even if you have a column shifter.
