It could be because it's a 2019 and that other video is the older 5.0. Mine has the resonator and muffler and sounds just like that. Atak videos are much louder. After is warms up and at idle it's almost silent unless you're standing in the rear.

Yeah, that was my assumption too, though i really didn't think there would be much change in this aspect between my gen 1 coyote and the gen 3.

I have a '20 f150 5.0 with the Borla S-type,
the second video sounds just like my truck on start up.

I was also concerned about the S-type waking the neighbors but,
in my opinion it really isn't that loud.
Sometimes I'll stand across the street with my dog and remote start it,
it's noticeable but, it shouldn't wake up anybody who isn't sleeping on the ground right outside my house.

I have a cousin with a 2015 Mustang GT with the Borla Atak and his is WAY louder,
my S-type isn't remotely as loud as his Mustang.
His car would WOULD wake up the whole damn block.

I should also say that,
I freakin' love this exhaust !

Previously I had a 2015 f150 5.0 with a Corsa Sport exhaust and it sounded awesome but,
this S-type from Borla is the best sounding exhaust I've ever had( in my opinion ).

For anyone worried that the S-type is a little too loud and the Touring too quiet,
you might consider the Corsa Sport, It's probably in between the S-type and Touring in sound level.

I had the SType on a 2012 5.0, I now have it on a 2020 5.0. The '20 is quite a bit louder, and a slightly different sound. At cold start, it's pretty loud, but once it idles down, it might not be a problem in around a lot of neighbors, but I won't swear to it. Bear in mind, an SType new, is a lot quieter than a burned in one.

First video, cold start
Second video, warm idle and a couple small revs. LOL, I was growling at one of the dogs.

LOL, well, very carefully. Really, it's the camera angle, that's a 9' wide door.

Yeah i was thinking about the camera angle and lens as it makes the rear wheels look like they're running about a foot inboard

There is no need to wait on the aftermarket to make exhaust specific to the 14th Gen 2021+. Any muffler shop can install any exhaust that is currently available for the 15-20 F150. The hangers are all the same. Just one connection has changed and it is an easy fix.
