Since Tesla has announced that they will be opening up their charge network to everyone, you should also consider the Tesla Superchargers. Here's a map. There are a lot of them.

Use the filters at the bottom of the page to just show the superchargers. You can also find them on Google Maps. Just type 'Tesla Supercharger' in the search box.

I'd say he is predictable. But not always on time.
Anyway it's the right thing to do. Tesla explained in the q2 earnings call how it makes financial sense to Tesla.
In addition, the Fedgvt is about to turn loose of $7.5B for EV charging. Tesla will qualify for some of that too.
It also fits with Tesla's mission to make transportation sustainable. As mentioned above (I think) I have made several road trips where most SC were empty when we arrived to charge. So utilization will increase.

If I had to guess, with the limited knowledge I have of the upcoming F-150 refreshes and redesign, I would suspect in 2025 when the new 2026 F150 is released, that could potentially be the last all gas generation. They could keep updating it until the federal government regulates emissions to a point they can't meet them anymore, then change over completely.
It won't be Ford that kills the gasoline truck. It will be Big Brother.
Requirements ramp up in 2025 to Obama-era levels of a 5% annual increase in the mileage standard and a similar cut in emissions. They then go higher than that for model year 2026, one of the people said, perhaps in the range of 6% or 7%.

You're right. Stopping along the way may be inevitable. The shack was moved to this property but before that it was wired for electricity. Maybe I should be thinking how I can power the shack with the truck.

I don't see any feasible way than to stop either on the way up and/or the way back. I do muzzleloader season which in Minnesota starts the Thanksgiving weekend and goes for two weeks. It's usually below freezing at the point but not below zero. That comes later. I'll have to search more for charging stations along the way. Your link didn't present any near the 56433 area code or anywhere along the route from the twin cities to there. Thanks for the info.

Bemidji and Brainerd and Fargo and Alexandria
Bemdji is about 60 miles.
But I don't know what's on your way.
There are also probably other stations. Go to Google search and put in the zip code then click the small map then type in EV Charging in the map search.
There shows to be a Charge Point charger in Pine River.

Ford slated to spend more on EVs than on internal combustion engine vehicles in 2023

It's a big risk. In the story you posted it states that 75% of Lightning reservations are from customers of other brands. Keep in mind these are NOT solid orders. One could look at that and say Ford is doing a great job to attract new customers, or that they are abandoning existing customers for people who probably also have reservations in for competitors. Hard to say. But it seems Ford is putting it all on the line with EVs. They probably had to, being in poor shape to begin with.
Of course it would seem Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis stopped new ICE development a while ago, and they've managed OK.
