Isn't it a '22 truck?
I too was going to ask of the Pro designation, i hadn't seen it before.

I don't suppose you were able to sneak a hand through the barrier to feel that vinyl?
It looks pretty good, but I wonder how it feels? That alone might push me up to an XLT, as I loved the clothe in both my XLTs.
Regardless, I think it will sell well in the consumer market as an outstanding value.

XLT might be the sweet spot for me.....not sure about the vinyl seats in the Pro.

I would guess that the vinyl would be the same as in the current XL. You could seek one out and see how you like it.
At the end of the day, people can get a pretty good idea on the Lightning models by looking at the current gas truck. The gauge cluster and the 12" screen are straight out of a Lariat+ truck. The seats should be comparable to the current trucks. The only real difference is the 15" screen in the higher end models and the powertrain. And I can just about guarantee that nobody will be able to drive it at any of the upcoming events. But you should be able to get a ride in it.
I've talked to a couple of guys that got to take a Lightning ER out on the test track and they say the power is insane, both from a standing start or a roll-off.

Great pictures! I love that red. I somehow completely missed it when ordering my '21 and when I saw it after, kind of wanted it. Can do it for the Lightning! That frunk is really great, going to be one of the killer features of that truck for sure. I love having the bed on the truck, but almost weekly we could use covered storage that has less chance of sliding around. While there are options for the bed, they all have to be lugged around and set up. With the frunk you don't have to compromise, luggage in the frunk and toys or whatever in the bed without having to play tetris.
We have been doing a lot of trips to northern MI this past year, and I bought a bunch of plastic totes to put stuff in that we want to keep protected, extra pillows and blankets or whatever. While the tonneau cover keeps almost all water and that out, it's still closer to 98%, and the bed is dirty and all that. Well those plastic totes take up a good deal of room on their own and are a static shape. We could use the frunk for that kind of stuff and have more room in the bed for other stuff that we don't worry about as much. Or if you have a dirt bike or something, you can't really take stuff for a family of four and a dirt bike, even with the longer bed (maybe the 8 foot, but then where does the actual family go). Frunk will be a game changer for a number of things. Doing a home project and loading a bunch of mulch in the back and putting your tools or whatever in the frunk, the list goes on.

Yes. However with my high reservation # I'm GUESSING it will be close to two + years from now before my # comes up. 22's are just around the corner so I'd be willing to bet it will be well into 2023, perhaps '24 before I get mine.

Quote from salesperson:
Not a problem, and we'll see by then how long orders are taking and such as well, so we'll have more of an idea what to expect Also, I just talked with my GM and we'll push your order through to reserve your spot for a 2023 MY and once we can "build one" I'll get in touch with you again...in the mean time you will still be on our email list for updates and such.

I take it that this is the regular XLT, with the 12" screen. I assume the XLT high has the 15.5" screen. I hope the Pro and XLT show up at the Texas State Fair in Dallas at the auto show, so I can take a better look at them. I see that in both the Pro and XLT, the back up lights have been moved to their traditional spots. Previous videos showed them as a strip on the tailgate.
