Wait is that what the pricing was? I had to mute it to answer the phone.
ETA: I love gas and diesel trucks but it actually looks really good and is probably fun af to drive.

Looks like they're suggesting an estimated 230 mile range on the standard battery and an estimated 300 miles on the extended battery.
I don't know what weight they are assuming for the numbers. I can't cough up $70,000 plus for it though ...

he definitely screwed up my small, but valuable to me, crypto holdings with his snudey remarks the other day.

Man, Ford hit a homerun.
I very seriously considered buying a 2021 Limited. Glad I didn't. This truck is going to be far better, except that currently there doesn't seem to be a Limited trim being offered (highest is Platinum).
1. It's quick. I was going to get the PB for not only efficiency, but that it's pretty quick. But Lightning will blow it out of the water.
2. It's definitely going to handle better.
3. It's going to ride better than the 2021s.
4. Much cheaper to operate. (I have 247K miles on my 2011 5.0. Love it, but have spent more on gas than the cost of the truck.)
5. They REALLY hit it out of the park with pricing.
6. The frunk is great. Eliminates the need for a tonneau.
7. Towing capacity is enough.
8. In theory, will be more reliable, though early years will have teething pains. One hesitation with the PowerBoost is that it's complicated: ICE with turbos, complex transmission, integrated motors, hybrid integration is inherently more complicated, etc.
The only reason I haven't placed a deposit is that there isn't a Limited trim yet. Betting that will come in the following year.
Congrats, Ford. You did great. These are going to sell like hotcakes.

The 4sec 0-60 is pretty cool, though the 300m range limit has me concerned. We just bought a Mach-E yesterday with the standard battery. Don't feel comfortable being all EV, as it is nice to fill up on trex juice for long trips. Though if Spring of 2022 roles around and my truck produced on 3/19 is still on Ramp 59, then who knows.
Then there is the unibrow....
