Nice thing is you can transfer your reservation if the dealer is dumb about it. There is already a dealer offering 3% below invoice IIRC if you transfer it to them.

Why build a wind farm off-shore?
No rental fees or land costs for the installation.
No neighbors complaining about turbine noise.
Fewer dumb birds crashing into the thing.
There are 95,471 miles of shoreline to choose from, all government owned. There are 14 states on the East Coast, 3 states on the West Coast, and 5 on the Gulf Coast.
The vast majority of the US population is in coastal states, think California, Florida, Texas, New York, New Jersey, etc, all within easy range of wind turbine territory.
And you will have a very hard time stopping people from tapping into that FREE wind energy as seen below.

I wonder if Ford is going to curb the dealer`s $10k+ "market adjustment" policy that they usually try when something new comes out.
Let Ford (Mike Levine) know if you see dealer ADM on Mach-E
The one at the place I mentioned a page or so back (where they sprang the $10k ADM on me right as I was about to put down a deposit) is still there. I've yet to see the base Premium model on a lot for more than a week during my search for one this past month, but this joker has been sitting on...
Contact Mike Levine. He contacted my dealer and the $5000 adm magically disappeared. The gm suddenly became my best friend and traded with another dealership to get the specific car I was looking for. Worth a try.
ADM for GT performance edition
Definitely reach out to Mike Levine at Ford. ADM is giving Ford a black eye and Levine wants to solve this problem: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/let-ford-mike-levine-know-if-you-see-dealer-adm-on-mach-e.4654/- ChasingCoral

Customer Complains of Mach-E ADM on Twitter, Ford's Mike Levine Has ADM Removed
Above at https://www.macheforum.com/site/thre...ins-of-mach-e-adm-on-twitter-fords-mike-levine-has-adm-removed.4316/post-130456 I said consumers are part of the problem. If someone buys one the $5K ADM cars, guess what? The dealer made $5K from the customer with the customers...- GoGoGadgetMachE

This is true which is why you get solar storage with solar panels. When the grid goes down your house is still powered by those solar panels. New homes are required to have solar panels so that will help.
But yeah, the word has to keep spreading how ****ty this State is, hopefully 30 more million will get up and leave without having more come in.

Pray for Grapheen ,, without it the world can kiss off the green tech.. not enough silver for solar cells let alone Batterys, phones TVs ect..

I'll check back when people have been driving them for 5 years. Not interested until I see REAL PROVEN return on investment numbers.
How much will charging cost?
Real world range numbers in minus 40 with all the lights, wipers and heater on.
How long the battery life is and what the replacement cost will be.
And of coarse.....the initial purchase price to come way down.
Until then, I'll keep paying carbon tax and enjoying the sound and reliability of my 5.0 V8.

Definitely am planing on it when available. Would have gotten one rather than my 2021 F-150 PowerBoost if they are available. Have had a Tesla Model S since 2013 and the acceleration and drivability of electric vehicles is life changing. Also the freedom of never going to a gas station and starting every day with an 80-90% full "tank is great. Love the car pool lane access for rush hour too. Have done numerous 500 mile trips in the Tesla. And our 33 panel solar array would more than provide for the Model S and the Lightening. Not concerned about things like battery life (Model S is doing great after 8 years) and "real world range" as am familiar with this from the S and a Ford Focus Electric we had.Just make them available!!

Charging electric cars is equal to ~5$ per gallon fuel...according to an article in Road&Track...at the 'fast charge' rate.
As many others have noted, SO many issues with what is simply a PR stunt on Ford's part...insufficient grid for charging, insufficient range to do...anything, unproven technology that may or may not work...the list goes on and on.
I have a friend who has been offered one of the first units due to her past relationships with Ford...I am going to be interested to see how that goes.
