Gotta love when folks ask for others viewpoint then make petty comments or bash them vice engaging in a productive exchange of ideas.

It is virtually impossible to communicate with most people that have an opposing point of view these days, because of the type of dialogue described above. Most people do not want to contemplate any idea, theory, or position on a topic that does not match their own.

Instead of working together to better our lives, we fight with each other. All the while, the rich get richer, and we have less freedom, less privacy, and more debt.

Thanks for proving my point,

BTW, this thread is about the new electric truck. No one is forcing you to buy it. Go on a political page to voice your views about your government woes.

Another BTW....the entire world is heading to EVs...just not the US so there goes the "our government is forcing them" argument.

You should post all the info about the TAX credit

The full 7500 will be paid for all the EV's the company sells the year it hits 200K. So if it hits 200K on Jan 1st 2022 all EVS sold that year will get it. Then it drops after that I think the next year its cut in about 1/2

Not Quite

https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/...ax-credit-work

Instead of cutting off the credit the moment an automaker reaches the limit, the IRS has developed a scheme that phases out the federal tax incentive over a year. At the beginning of the second calendar quarter, after an automaker hits the limit, the incentive on each of their vehicles is cut in half. It continues at that 50% level for the next two quarters. After that, the incentive is halved again, to 25% of its original amount, for the next two quarters. When that period expires, the credits disappear entirely. At that point, no customer buying a plug-in vehicle is eligible to receive the EV tax credit – even if the vehicle they are buying is an all-new model.

"You know you have problems when you have to sell your vehicles for $20,000 off list."
I thought that what all the savvy buyers were getting off all their F 150`s last year & paying cash at the same time. Lol

A savvy buyer wouldn't pay cash.

Again Mr. Babcock,

I answered a question that was posed by Mr. All Hat No Cattle. "what are people so afraid of." All you have to contribute is clown-like jabs at folks trying to have an adult conversation. Although it may make you uncomfortable, the topic of an all electric F150 is potentially more complicated than "bro, 0-60 in 4.4 seconds."

Interestingly, I previously stated that EVs being future was not a point of contention. It seems that you overlooked that part.

I encourage you to try find happiness from things that you like and enjoy. Negativity and disdain towards others will not result in a fulfilling and joyful life.
