Ditto. A while back I purchased a new Tesla with 1.49% financing. With 2% inflation I paid the loan with money worth less than what I borrowed.
Expect 10% inflation the next couple years. Its already 4.8%. "Smart money" is borrowing every penny one can, buying bigger houses now. Get something real now, pay for it later with artificial money.

In my conversations with municipalities, they're already discussing charging infrastructure for fleet facilities. Every project we build in the private sector realizes they need need more power points. Our multifamily projects are seeing rows of parking dedicated to charging with some target demographics.

Not sure what your point is, but whatever you say! I have not read anything about the return to flip phones being a nostalgia thing and desire by companys, but if you say so, you can be right!

You are suffering from limited thinking in believing "Gas truck needs gas stations therefore EV truck needs gas stations!"
The EV starts every morning with a "full tank" (or whatever you decide to charge the battery to). The only time it ever needs a "gas station" is when you come near the range of the battery.
So by your own statistics you are wasting 4.5 minutes (Really? You can detour to a gas station in only 5 minutes? Then pump gas for 4.5 minutes? The traffic lights at nearby gas stations take 4 minutes to cycle.) to fill the gas tank when if you had an EV you would be spending an extra 15 seconds each morning, 15 seconds each night, moving the EVSE umbilical 3' toward the EV at night and then 3' away in the morning.
Long 67 second video. After washing my Tesla the last 15 seconds I go into the garage for the charging umbilical and plug it in: Ring Video: Charge Tesla

Exactly this^
The EV is being produced at it's own plant. Every trim level they offer requires hundreds of parts be available at that location.
My bad, wrong thread...

That's a valid point. Never thought about that. I have a 2021 KR on order and am considering cancelling it if Ford is abandoning KR even though I think it's the nicest interior on all their trucks that's available with rapid red.

Again, the lightning is a truck for non-truck people or city dwellers. You can't actually tow something across state or to a camping site out of state without some serious pit stops and planning.
Going to Starbucks? Lightning is for you!
Kids to hockey practice? Throw those bags in the back and fire up the lightning!
Going to yoga class and a latte? Yep, lightning!
Towing a boat to something rural about 100 miles away? Get a PB or Ecoboost.
Heavy payload moving a friend out of state? Get a PB or Ecoboost.
Going camping with the family out of state? PB or Ecoboost.
Going hunting? PB or Ecoboost
Going fly-in fishing out of state or Canada? PB or Ecoboost.
If you don't actually need a Truck, get a Lightning. If you actually use a truck as a truck, get anything else besides a lightning.
Change my mind.
