Could you just get a Tremor-specific exhaust instead of having to modify a non tremor-specific exhaust?

Yes, but I'm sure an OEM Tremor exhaust would cost as much if not more than a quality aftermarket exhaust. Might as well go aftermarket at that point. Unless that's not your thing, then you can take that route.

Good idea, but I doubt it would work. The tow hitch on a tremor has a different part number and I'm pretty sure the reason it's different is to accommodate the exhaust. If an aftermarket exhaust is specially bent to go around the tremor specific hitch, then the problem in theory would remain. IMO anyway.
