We have a 2014 F150 that will not shift from park. We start it, push the break and the shift lever moves but will not going into drive or reverse or anything. We checked the fuses and it doesn’t seem to be the fuses. Any ideas on what it could be?

years ago my wife's car had what sounds like a similar issue... she had a switch on her brake pedal that wasn't engaing, so we coudln't get it into gear... check for a switch, and it may need to be reposistioned... he switch wasn't out, it just wasn't getting engaged enough... her switch was on the pedal shaft, so get under the dash and take a look... good luck
